Kristy and Bryce are Canada’s youngest retirees. They used to live in one of the most expensive cities in Canada, but instead of drowning in debt, they rejected home ownership. And what resulted was a 7-figure portfolio, which has allowed them to retire in their 30s and travel the world.
Their story has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, Huffington Post, amongst many other publications. They’ve written a book on FIRE called Quit Like a Millionaire and it’s out this month.
Homeschooling is the practice of educating kids at home or out in the world instead of traditional schooling. While the concept might be different or even radical for some, it’s on the rise. Since 2012, homeschooling has grown consistently by 3-8% per year.
In my endless pursuit to chat with all the most interesting people in the world, I started studying up on travel bloggers. These folks spend their days traveling across the US or globetrotting around the world. They capture their adventures through writing, photography or video. Some of the more popular travel bloggers do this full-time and their vagabond lifestyle is fully funded.
After they’ve built a loyal audience on their blog and through social media, they’ll get hooked up with sponsors and affiliates (like hotels, resorts or automotive companies) who will financial support their travels. Some of them even write their own travel books based on their adventures. Can you imagine roaming the world, seeing all that our beautiful earth has to offer and having all of your travels be fully funded?!
